Annual Award Winner of Model of the Chinese Economic and Trade Circles

The contest for the 2014 Model of the Chinese Economic and Trade Circles - Prominent Chinese Business Leader is the selection for the 6th Prize of Prominent Chinese Business Leader, jointly organized by the China Commercial Culture Society and the All-China Youth Federation.

Ms. Wu Shu-e, the president of the Tai-e Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Montreal, finally won the award following her successful entry to the list of 40 notable candidates subject to the global publication and voting based on the selection process including primary selection, review and decision-making by expert voting.

The reasons why Ms. Wu Shu-e won the award:

The jury considers that as an overseas Chinese patriot in Canada, President Wu Shu-e has devoted her whole life and all her financial resources to "the construction of the first international franchise brand Tai-e for the global healthcare industry in traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology ". Her family tradition of giving great respect to doctors, her strong professional commitment and her sense of national mission led her to restarting her own business abroad. Her rich business experience has strengthened her faith in prospecting for the market of international franchise brand in traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology. Following the creation of the Tai-e Health Clinic in 2005, she founded the Tai-e Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2006 in order to promote and popularize the traditional Chinese medicine. Subsequently, she created successively the Taiwan Tai-e Medical Equipment Company in 2008 and the International Tai-e Business Administration Consulting Co., Ltd. in 2009. In September 2009, Tai-e Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine became the exclusive agent of the Canada Academy of Naturopaths & Naturotherapists for the Chinese world and the Asia-Pacific region, a historic step towards the international recognition of the traditional Chinese medicine. Ms. Wu Shu-e made continuous efforts in founding the Tai-e World Federation of Natural Medicine Associations in 2011 and organizing the first Chinese Medicine Culture Festival in Canada on August 3, 2012. From then on, the international franchise brand Tai-e started to ramp up in full. Ms. Wu Shu-e achieved a great success in business and demonstrates profound patriotism. She succeeded in integrating the idea of creating an international franchise brand with the traditional Chinese medicine. What’s more, she has made a remarkable contribution to promoting the production, training and research of the traditional Chinese medicine in the international market.

On April 7, 2013, at the invitation of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, as a VIP representative of Chinese remarkable entrepreneurs, Ms. Wu Shu-e attended the 2013 Annual Conference of the Bo’ao Forum for Asia (in the first presence of the Chinese leader, President Xi Jinping after his inauguration.)

On June 20, 2013, selected and invited by the Office of the Council of State Affairs for the affairs of overseas Chinese, Ms. Wu Shu-e attended the 2013 Business Creation and Development Fair for overseas Chinese and Chinese to attract international investment in the Tai-e projects. On September 9, 2013, Ms. Wu Shu-e was invited for the second time to attend the Drug Expo by the People's Government of the City of Haozhou, Anhui, the Chinese Drug capital. Thereafter, on May 13, 2014, at the request and invitation of the eight Chinese ministries and commissions, as a VIP, Wu Shu-e attended the 17th Beijing International High-tech Expo (Tech Expo). The brand Tai-e was featured in the presentation for promoting scientific achievements and business partnership projects. In early June 2014, considering the considerable contribution of Ms. Wu Shu-e to promoting the traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology and in order to help Wu Shu-e build the first brand Tai-e for the world healthcare industry in traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology, the Center for Research and Development of the State Council recommended Ms. Wu Shu-e to the CCTV program Beautiful trip to China and selected her as the important figure in the field of traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada. In early July 2014, the 5th Forum on scientific and technological innovation and development of China granted Ms. Wu Shu-e two annual awards World Leader in traditional Chinese medicine and World Prominent Chinese Businesswoman. Ms. Wu Shu-e’s dedication and contribution to her mother country will go down in history.

On September 1, 2014, Tai-e and China Medical Pharmaceutical Material Association jointly held a Sino-Canada medical pharmaceutical material communication and cooperation meeting. The topic is to start a new chapter of Sino-Canada cooperation on Chinese medicine. On October 17, 2014, Tai-e and China SheBeauty Group jointly organized a business meeting in Montreal, Canada, for the study group of China SheBeauty Group and World Natural Medicine.  On November 18, 2014, Ms. Shu-e Wu was authorized to take over Massologists and Practitioners in Massage Association of Canada (MPMAC) and its nine affiliated medical professional associations.  She began to be in charge of certification and issuing of certificates for osteopaths, naturopaths, massage therapists, foot massage therapists, doctor of TCM and other professional medical practitioner members working throughout Canada. Led wisely by Ms. Shu-e Wu and thanks to her hard working, Tai-e Group and MPMAC have helped many western and Chinese students achieve their dream of becoming professional therapists and thus they become the new forces to alleviate the shortage problem of Canadian medical healthcare professionals. This solid contribution to the country and society also creates many job and business opportunities. On August 8, 2015, Tai-e Group cooperated again with China Zhonghe Yajiankang Service Center to host “The Second Canada Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Festival” and a charity campaign called “To Build the World’s Top Brand of Chinese Traditional Medicine and Healthcare Industry – Tai-e Ten Anniversary Celebration”. On December 2, 2017, Ms. Shu-e Wu was elected as the committee member in the executive committee of The World Federation of Acupuncture - Moxibustion Societies for 5-year term. On September 14, 2018, on the “Same Root, Same Dream 2018 Global Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Gathering” held in Beijing, China, considering the outstanding contributions made by Ms. Shu-e Wu for China and Canada on politics, economics, culture and etc., the organizing committee decided to award Ms. Shu-e Wu “Most Influential Chinese · Distinguished Female”. Tai-e Group was awarded “Most Influential Chinese Business Brand”.
